Commissions and Custom Order Requests
PoWP Commission Requests
I do take commission requests, though this may change at a later date. If this occurs, I will make sure to update my website ahead of time. I reserve the right to reject any commission request I receive, and if that is the case, I will provide reasoning behind that rejection. I do have a select set of skills in pottery, and some requests may be outside my wheelhouse, or beyond my means entirely. At this time, I do not do large-scale projects, such as multi-foot pieces or sculptures. I have physical limits and will not injure myself because of a commission request.
If I accept a commission request, expect to be in contact with me fairly consistently. I will provide regular progress checks, as well as making sure your vision is being portrays correctly. I like to hear feedback from the customer, so if something doesn't look quite right, please tell me so I can change it before it's too late.
If I do not hear back from the requesting customer within a reasonable amount of time (~3-5 days), I will send a follow-up message. If I do not get a response to that as well, I will cancel the commission request and stop all progress on the order.
Payment for the commission order will be determined by the cost of the materials used and the amount of time spent making the order. I am open to discussing prices with the customer, but will have a baseline that I will not go under, as I would be losing money.
