To the Stars Who Listen - Small Bowl

This small bowl was made in the spring of 2022 in my wheelthrowing class. It was made using the glaze Blue Fur, as well as implemented the technique of water etching to carve the mountain design into the exterior of the bowl. The name and design of this bowl are derived from the book series, A Court of Thorns and Roses, which is one of my sister's favorite series. The mountain and stars design is a very important symbol in the series, and often accompanies my favorite line, "To the stars who listen, and the dreams that are answered" which appears in the second book, A Court of Mist and Fury. The piece is not dishwasher or microwavable safe.

The bowl has a diameter of 4.75 inches, and a height of 2 inches. The maximum capacity is 9 fluid oz.
